I firmly believe that the day should not only be about academics and results on reports. At the NLA we strive to provide a balanced education, thus focussing not only on academics but also on stretching the mind and being physically active. Students learn so much by participating in clubs that interest them, and they also have fun in the process. The motivation for starting clubs is for the sole purpose of enhancing the school day and for providing students with the extra bit of attention, fun and relaxation after a busy school day. We encourage students to take part in as many clubs as possible, and also to switch between clubs to further their interest in new things. I can honestly say that the clubs had a flying start and caused much excitement. We are looking forward to growing clubs at the NLA. Clubs will be seasonal and will be changed, or added, as we see fit to accommodate each and every learner. The students are thoroughly making use of the opportunity to take part in clubs – Maria
Parents and Caregivers are encouraged to please have a look on our Facebook page to keep track of clubs and see some photos of the students participating.
Parents are invited to take the opportunity to come host a club, should they have a skill or interest that they would like to share with our students.
